Taiwanese CSC hikes leeway prices

China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steel producer in Taiwan announced to raise its prices for hot rolled and cold rolled leeway by NT$800/ton.

After the adjustment, the company's list prices for hot rolled leeway are at NT$16,350~NT$17,350/ton and those for cold rolled leeway come to NT$19,200~NT$19,700/ton.

Market participants predicted that the company would increase its list prices for steel flat products by NT$800~NT$1,000/ton for April and May. It's known that CSC is going to release its price policy for April and May on February 27th.
